Loading Windows Backup from Windows XP CD

I have Windows XP and want to use Windows Backup utility (Ntbackup.exe).
An article tells me that I can install it from Windows XP CD.
If I put the CD into the drive will it start to load the software (don't want that) or will it wait for me to choose what to look at?
Grateful for any help.

Is Windows XP Backup ok?

Regards
Vic

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q302894 Use Explorer to open the Window cd or just select Browse this cd.

For any CD that may autoplay, simply hold the shift key down while you put the disk in.

XP Backup is a piece of garbage (manners and the Dell profanity checker limit me on my real opinion).  Buy a product like Norton Ghost or Acronis True Image.
