There is a block of messages in my inbox that I quickly scanned through and left them to read at a more opportune time (we had been away for awhile).  Now I cannot read the messages.  It says

Outlook Express has not yet downloaded this message.

To download the message:

I have clicked and pressed but nothing. I know the messages were downloaded because they were there when I first arrived home.  I have rebooted.  What else can I try?  Today's messages are coming through fine.
