pagefile making system not start or something else?
I was trying to scan some things when windows decided to chime in and tell me that c:/pagefile.sys was corrupt, please run chkdsk on this disk
*hmm*
cant run it in windows so i decide to reboot to chkdsk before this gets bad
go to reboot and i get a BSOD, and then resets so i cant even read what happened
*sigh* pull the HD, stick in USB drive and toss in desktop
desktop finds nothing problematic, scanned for bad sectors, none there, defragged, checked the partiton table, everythings fine
i dont have pagefile.sys on C:
would this stop windows from booting?
i know you can turn it off, but will it make a new one if it wants one but none is found?
after using my 20D to capture the problem on film, it seems like its an error of
0x00000067
which is that windows cant allocate memory for the registry
I DID swap out the memory for one stick that it came with and still did this..
Also ran diognositcs and the memory came out sparking
What does this mean??

Yes, it will, but to do so the computer must be able to boot to Windows. See "Where is the page file?" here.
