She dialed online on the 2400 (XPsp1) and used Norton's Update, it halted and said "not able to complete, contact Tech Support & provide information on this screen"  ...

 

When I saw it, (much later) that was gone, said it was done, needed reboot and needed 'LiveUpdate' to be run again, virus definations were current.

 

Now, ran LiveUpdate on this D800 (XPsp2) and saw similar message on completion of AV Prog and VirusDef about wanting (no reboot) to run LiveUpDate again.

 

This was a 1.4MB (WM...somthin) and when it was done, a popup about:

 

"NORTON handles security on this system, recommend that we turn off those redundant XPsp2 Security Features and leave it to NORTON"

 

No idea what Norton turned off, all the network connections still show that they are firewalled.

 

Anyone else see this?  (And understand what went on)
