Can you explain why you are uploading and downloading thru wordperfect and not a browser? The downloads are probably there on your computer, just not in the same file directory as your wordperfect files. You could try a search if you know the file names. Also, what type of files are you transferring?

I am  getting them from a browser. I just don't understand why they don't just pop up after they  are downloaded. If you can help me configure it to pop up after it downloads i'd appreciate it.

What browser and what kind of files are they that you think they should "pop up" ?  Give all the details you can.  Did wordperfect have anything to do with this?

i am trying to access the .doc file through internet explorer. the file that i originally wanted was my class notes that my teacher posts on the internet. when i click on the link it will ask me if i want to open or save the file and i click open. the "conversion in progress screen" will come up and then nothing will happen after that. i jsut don't think that it makes sense to click open on somethin and have it not open. im sure i could save it but i would rather just view the file without having to.

any help is appreciated. thank you

.doc files are Microsoft Word files, not WordPerfect files.  Full versions of WordPerfect can convert these, but maybe your version cannot.  Check the help section of your WordPerfect to see about file conversions.  You may need to upgrade WordPerfect or obtain a copy of Word.
