Vista RC1 and internet problems

I have vista installed on 2 computers and the first one has a problem where only a certain number of web pages will load.  Other ones just take forever and then will not display.  Then on my other computer, it was running correctly on wireless, all pages were loading.  Then i took it to work and had it on ethernet and it was working there too.  But then when i brought it back on the wireless network, only the pages that will load on the first computer load.  Does anyone have a solution?

See if things work better using Firefox assuming you are not already doing so.

Try setting your network as a private network if you have not already done so.

Some have success by turning network security off--even MAC address filtering. Give it a shot, and see if you make any progress.

Once you get the firewall(s) conflict resolved, including any firewall you might be running on your router, run network diagnostics. I had mucho problems with Beta 2, but RC1 has been trouble free. Good Luck

There is a administrators version of IE in the system tools folder that has no add ons. There is a beta Java that works with IE and Vista. The older versions don't work with Vista and IE7. Do you know how to troubleshoot network problems?

Open the device manager and verify that your nic is functioning properly

Go to programs in the control panel and uninstall Java if it's installed

    Unplug your router/dsl switch.
    Turn off your computer
attach it to the router with data cable with an RJ45
    connector- power the router again
    restart the computer
    disable the wireless connection

use the diagnose network connection function in the network connections folder in the control panel or from the network connection icon in the task tray
Does it say there is a problem with your connection?
