Hi, First of all, I apologize if this is in the wrong forum but I have a burning question/technical issue. I tried earlier today to do a clean install of Business on a Vostro 1500. Vista finishes installing but will refuse to boot up. It blue screens 1/2 way through the loading bar and immediately restarts. This continues to cycle and does not ever load Vista. I tried using ctrl+f11 for the dell system restore but it does not seem to work and I have even tried to go through the business DVD with the path d:windows;d:\windows\system32 d: CD Tools PCRestore to attempt to restore the computer to factory settings. It just comes back with that is not a valid batch file or something. I've also tried starting up the computer in safe mode but it also crashes so the lockup must be in a core file. I personally believe it to be the nvidia video card installed on it, and have posted on the nvidia forums. They turned me down and told me to go contact the OEM about the issue. So here I am. And finally my questions: -Is it possible to integrate the video driver (R159774.exe [found on Dell's support website]) into the Vista business install to try to fix the issue? or if that doesn't work -How the heck do I restore the laptop to factory settings? I did not delete the other partition that came with the system, I just installed business onto the OS partition. Thanks a ton -Jones
