I have had an XPS 15 9570 about 2 years ago and have had lots of problems with it, distorted sound, noisy fan and hinge broken away from the palm rest. Dell have been very reasonable and repaired the hinge problem although the laptop was out of warranty. Most recently I have had a problem with the trackpad, sticking up from the palm rest by about 2-3 mm and totally unusable on left and right click. This was caused by a swollen battery pressing on the the trackpad forcing it up out of position. 2 years is not really a long time for a battery on a fairly expensive machine so a bit disappointed with it.
