Hello I do have a laptop recently purchased from Amazon. It's DELL XPS 15 7590. The problem it with its Intel UHD Graphics 630 Driver. It causes on constant booting squences (6008 unexpected shutdown). So i contact with my dell support here in Turkey. They opened the case and there could not find any hardware problems. So i engaged with Microsoft team. They rolled backed the driver and booting problem solved. But now i cannot use my screen properties because i rolled backed my driver. So i contact with DELL Turkey and they told me to downgrade my driver. So now im using this one 26.20.100.6911 which is from 2019 and still there are some random booting happens. So my question to experts what to do now ? I cannot send to seller because its in UAE if i want to send it back i need to pay like 400 USD + Taxes. I really dont think to buy DELL anymore. I'm in a really bad situtation. DELL Turkey doesnt support me because they found out the laptop has no warranty (They dont actually know why) Pls help me. Best regards
Thigs i've tried so far
Updated BIOS
Downgraded Driver of Intel
Contacted with Reseller (I cannot send it back to UAE)
Well first of all i do not like the tone of this message, it is kinda rude... Secondly, as i wrote it before i did contacted and i cannot afford the send it back. So if you going to offer me some sort of solution to my problem pls do it. I already send it to DELL Turkey service and they checked there are no hardware problem on the computer...
You bought a used computer on Amazon Marketplace from a private seller. That model is from 2019 and would not have any warranty. Dell does not sell computers on Amazon. Complain about the seller at Amazon.
First of all regardless of where the machine was purchased from you can transfer the ownership to a country you are located in (takes 2 weeks most) and the transfer is than locked for 6 months. Second you spent entire time of your warranty troubleshooting with different version of intel Drivers.
Brother life is too short to waste in troubleshooting. Factory RESET your machine using a USB Drive. Do not use stock image or Windows reset feature. From F12 > SupportAssist OS recovery > RESET > RESET and update (internet connection is required)
I hardly think intel HD graphic driver causes Event ID 6008 and it was a hardware issue from the beginning, may be a older version of Driver reduced the onboard GPU util and reduced the problem. No do not send it back it it costs that much.
Thank you for you kind answer xps_man. I did that already, not working. So now im using with older version of driver. Problem continues but not bad like newest version of driver.
