Backup Exec Dedup LUN

Hello all,

I have a scenario I need your experience:

We have a older CX300 array that we are going to start using it as a dedup storage for Symantec BackUp Exec 2010 R3.

The limitation on the backup software is that I can present to the server only ONE volume to create one or multiple dedup-folders inside.

The array has one DPE (15 FC / 146 GB) and one DAE (15 FC / 300 GB).

Since I can present only one LUN to the host, what would be the best possible configuration available based on the existing items?

I'm thinking the following:

3 RG with 1 - 500 GB LUN RAID-5   (4+1)

2 RG with 2 - 500 GB LUNs RAID-5 (4+1)

1 RG with  1 - 800 GB LUN RAID-5   (3+1)

1 RG for hot spare (1)

Then add all LUNs to a big MetaLUN (With the limitation that only one SP will be doing all the work)

I appreciate your help!
