I have had a Dell laptop with Windows 10 for a couple of years. Recently I am facing an issue where my cursor would start moving on its own. I get a little control by attaching an external mouse but the movement continues. I updated all my drivers but this didn't solve my issue. I even had my laptop factory reset hoping it would fix it but nothing helped. 

Now my keyboard is also causing an issue and would work on and off. 

I have the latest windows and drivers updates. I had a keyboard replacement because of faulty keys last year. Visited a dell store and the assistant didn't seem to be sure about the problem and recommend only keyboard replacement. I am not if the problem is just in the keyboard, or in the touchpad or in both because a disabled touchpad makes my laptop work just fine.
