analog to digitalized sounds
I want to convert my old vinyls to either MP3 files or wma files. I purchased the software Microsoft Plus! SuperPack for Windows, installed it and connect my amplifier to the computer. I have the Creative SB Live! sound card on my Dimension 8250. I tried every port or line on my sound card as a sound input. I also tried each option - line-in, microphone, stereo mix, etc. All I get is a message that a recording level is not detected. The amplifier and phonograph player are working fine. Now the amplifier does not a have separate phonograph jacks, so I use the VCR jacks.
Is there any help in converting my collection?
