1905fp resolution help

Hello. I just purchased a 1905fp monitor for use on my e1505 laptop. Being that the e1505 doesn't have a dvi slot, I have it hooked up via vga. The problem I'm having is that the resolution is rather big and the kicker is, I have it set to 1280x1024. I've checked and checked and checked and I just can't figure this out. I was previously using a 1900fp and 1280x1024 and it was too small to see. I updated the 1905fp driver and all. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

This is a screen print of 1280x1024

Are you running both your laptop screen and the 1905FP at the same time? If so, what GPU are you using, onboard integrated Intel or an upgrade? Not sure if the Intel GPU supports different resolutions for both lcd's.

Hello and thanks for your response. I am running just the monitor screen only. Also, I am only running Intel 945GM (which I guess is just the regular one). Thanks
