format hard disk DELL

Sorry I don't speack very well english so I don't know if I am in the good forum.
I want to format c: but I don't remember how one makes. For format c: it necessary to make a handling with starting and c: will be format and the pilots will be reinstalled

If you are going to reinstall Windows you should be able to boot from the Windows CD and the installation will take care of the format while installing. If all you want to do is format the drive then you need a bootable floppy disk or CD with FDISK and format.com on it.funtoupgradefranafuness

- go to www.windowsreinstall.com and choose the link that applies to you, should give step by step instructions/screenshots depending on your version of windows and what not.
