N4010 battery compatibility
Hi,
Yesterday I bought a battery for N4010 laptop. The vendor said that it is compatible with N4010.but when I saw the "part number" on old battery and new battery, they are different. can some one please tell me if they are compatible. following are the details.
Old battery part number : J1KND
New battery part number : 8NH55

Thanks a lot Ravi,
I didnt even open the seal thinking that I need to get it replaced from the vendor. Now I can open the seal and install battery in my laptop.

Hi sree harsha ,
Yes, DP/N 08NH55 is a genuine battery from Dell and is compatible with Dell Inspiron N 4010.
