Hi I have personal desktop linked to my U4025qw monitor using the DP switch as a USB-C to USB-C switch.
I also have a works dell laptop., connected through thunderbolt. 

I cannot get the auto KVM switch to work - example. I switch off my work laptop. I then switch on my personal desktop but I get no signal automatically. Instead I must go through the menu using the monitors button behind the screen.
I wanted the auto KVM function where the monitor would recognise the new pc-  without me having to toggle across sources. Can you advise what silly thing I am doing wrong here?
