Advanced File device folder has no volhdr file

I'm trying to do this but I am stuck on one part. These are the instructions:

Fix: Workaround Fix:
1) Moved the adv file device aside by renaming the directory
2) In NetWorker, delete the volume that was mounted on the file device
3) Label a new adv_file device with the same volume name. The result of that is a new and valid volhdr file
4) Move back the old advance file device and dumped the new volhdr file created in step 3
5) Mounted the adv_file dev
6) run scanner -i -vvv on the file dev to repopulate the index and media database

However I can't do number 1! what directory is it talking about?

Mark, when you create and AdvF device, you usually use a directory in your Storage Node or NW server. For example, you can create a directory C:\device and then give this path as a name while creating the Advanced File Device. For each AdvF device you should be able to see a path for a directory), so this is the directory mentioned in number 1.

Mark, I think you are using Windows so use the ren command (rename):

    ren old_directory_name new_directory_name

If you are using unix use mv:

    mv old_directory_name new_directory_name
