I have the same problem. Machine just won't bootup... seems to be no power... date related?

I curently have the same problem with a 350 and a 1650. Can someone from Dell please address this?

I had the same pb too and didn't get any answer too from Dell.. But now Even in leaving it disconnected for a while, it won't boot up anymore ;-( Just have this Stdby green LED...

I'm having the same problem. I'm curious to know what part the operating system may have played, and would like to know which you all are using.

I found a stripped PE1300 board abandoned by a previous administrator with a slot one terminator in the secondary and jumpers set for 400mhz. (The dell site said it's upgradable to 800mhz with the BIOS upgrade. Dell Sales priced a dual 800 upgrade kit at $230. - thought that worthwhile.) The system rebooted a few times installing NT. The Dell utility that 'prepares Windows' for the BIOS upgrade returned a 'not compatible with NT' message. (The machine was set aside, powered off, for a few weeks before I got back to it.) It powered up again without a problem. I created a second primary partition, rebooted and installed 98. Again it rebooted a couple of times during installation. It set unused again for a couple of weeks, and then would not boot (only the standby LED).
