R7910 Primary Video Adapter Slection
Hello,
Dell R7910 server is having embedded Video Controller, A Nvdia video in slot6 card and a matrox Video Card in Slot5.
Currently embedded Video Controller is working as Primary Video card, i want Matrox to be my Primary Video Card.
To achieve this currently i have disabled the embedded video card and disabled the slot6 where Nvidia is Connected.
Can't we choose directly choose the Primary Video card required directly in R7910 server?
I have an issue with a R7910 with the same video cards. OS is RHEL 7.9. Issue getting X to start after installing NVIDIA driver. Xorg log is saying no screens found. nvidia-xconfig --query-gpu-info, says No display devices. Right now running view thru iDRAC. Figure X should still start. Any suggestions?

Hi Aravind_ZIN,
PCI Slot 6 is the default slot for the graphics card and can't be changed I'm afraid (due to the way the backplane is wired)

Can you just put the Matrox in slot 6?
