I've got a Precision 7510 running on an Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS and Windows 10 dual boot system.  I bought the machine used with Windows already installed.

I was happy with my new used machine for a couple of months until recently when the pointer began to act up.  Icons are dragged unexpectedly, clicks fail, etc., though the pointer remains maneuverable.

Hitting Esc, letting the machine sleep for a while or logging out and back in can sometimes reanimate the pointer.  It gets to the point that only a hard boot will do.

This is true with both Windows and Ubuntu, so I'm pretty sure it's a hardware issue, though I'm not 100% sure.  Yesterday I ran a Windows troubleshooter that seemed to fix something with bluetooth and the machine was fine until today.

Anyone have similar problems?  I'd really appreciate any suggestions.
