I'm using a Dell Dimension 5100 on Windows Xp Home edition. I'm having problems with my Printer after installing a driver update , Graphics driver i think it was. It may have nothing to do with it , but after installed the update , a few days later the printer stopped working. I have  tried troubleshooting the problem myself with online help from reading other problems , but no luck. I do have a few error codes that will help, but i'll explain the problem first. It's a Dell Photo AIO P22 printer.

 

Whenever i try and print a document , it goes straight to the queue but won't printer , and then  other times it gives an error which i will post later in this thread. The USB is fine and connected. I do think it's something to do with the files on the PC.

 

Here are the error's i get and when i get them.

 

When i try to send a document to the printer queue : Runtime Error Program C:\windows\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3\DLBTPSWX.EXE

abnormal program termination.

 

At random times:

The program SpoolerSubsystemapp has stopped working and windows has shut it down. , It goes along those line's i didn't right it down.

When trying to install drivers for the printer:

Script : c:\Dell922\dllbten.vbs

Line: 4

Char: 1

Error: Could not locate automation class named " Scripting.filesystemobjects"

Code: 800200009

Source: Wscript.createobject.

 

From the sounds of it , it's a scripting error. But i have no experience with anything like this so any help would be appreciated.
