I have inherited a 924. I hooked it up and it worked fine.

 

The ink cartridges needed to be replaced so I ordered and received the cartidges this weekend.

As soon as I installed the new cartridges, the printer stopped working. I get an error saying "Communication Not Available"

I have unplugged the poswer supply, disconnected the USB cable, restarted my compueter, uninstalled and reinstalled the printer. . . Still gett the same error.

I am running Vista

I have the original installastion disk.

There are no error messages on the printer itself.
