Adding second DVD burner

Have a new Inspiron 530 with sata cabling to my present DVD burner. I want to add a lightscribe burner to the system. I observed the sata data cable doesn't have an additional plug for a second drive, but the power cable has two plugs that would appear to match up to a second drive. Would I be right in assuming that these plugs are for a second drive?

The SATA channels are independant, thus seperate cables.  The power is
common.  Yes, the spare power connector is for another drive.

New Dell Inspiron 530 Assuming I need to get a sata data cable for the DVD writer I'm adding as a second drive, should I get a eSATA, SATA1 or SATA2? This sata stuff is new to me.

For an optical drive (DVD burner) use SATA1 or SATA2; either is fine.  If you are interested
    in some background ...........
