desktop

my desktop keeps flashing on and off then disapears compleatly after a while, Help please

1. Model number of your system ?

2. Memory on system, how much ?

3. What Operating System ?

4. What video card ?

5. Do you have a anti virus software program ? Which one, is it up to date, have you used it ?

6. Have you run a systems diagnostic program yet ?

7. Did you install any new programs, afterwards this occured ?

8. Did you uninstall anything prior to this happening ?

9. Have you checked all the cables leading from the wall to the system, and to the video card and monitor ?

10 Did you check to see if your video card if loose from the slot ?
