Just installed xp sp2; now I have two problems:

a) When I right click on the free space on the desktop or in any open folder free space to get the context menu, instead the system freezes for about 20 sec and then refreshes to the desktop, missing some of the icons in the tray area.  No context menu ever appears.

b) When I left click, or even pause on in some cases, the file menu button in the menu toolbar of a folder, the same freeze-refresh behavior happens.

I've read that some applications (like divx, which I don't have) can cause this.  Would certainly appreciate your help or comments.  Thanks.
