Vista installed!

After a failed first install the second time around was successful! Dont know why it failed the first time. The second time I did not check the box "windows during the update aktivate". Initial problem after update with Internet Explorer 7-would not open- "Google Toolbar not found". After installing the toolbar it worked fine. Grafik Card GeForce 7500LE is not optimal für Vista. Canon S500 printer does not work with Vista. No trieber update!

    Upgrade or clean install?

    If it is running then leave it alone, but for best perfomrnace a clean install is always recommended.

    I did an upgrade from XP SP2

    I performed a clean install with dell vista upgrade DVD it went flawlessly
     
    fully loaded inspiron 1501 maxed everything
