Aurora R4, WiFi not working
Just got over an overheating issue and now realizing my WiFi isn't working. I use an Ethernet but went to link up with my laptop through a WiFi LAN and it's not working. I read this post here https://www.dell.com/community/Alienware-General-Read-Only/Alienware-Aurora-R4-Wifi-Not-Working/td-p/5549110 but it did not work for me. Noticed both wires go to the same board on top of the PC as well those are good and Bluetooth works fine. I want to say it is driver related cause I used a program called Driver Boost 5 and updated all kinds of stuff. I looked in Device Manager and couldn't find anything nor do I know what the driver is called. The Ethernet is good but I'm sure the WiFi uses a different one. I tried going to Dell Support looking up my Service tag and downloading WiFi driver but still no luck.
Could just be something else that's gone bad on this thing but since the Bluetooth goes to the same boards and that works fine I'm thinking the WiFi should be working as well. Any suggestions? Thanks again.
