Thanks for the information but I should add that I was adviced to send the laptop to Dell for the official repairing service. Apparently replacing the GPU if is not done by Dell sometimes end with some teoubles.

The only way to get a price on the repair (expect it to be significantly higher than the cost of the card on Ebay) is to call Out of Warranty services for a repair quote.  There is a charge for the call, which is then applied to the cost of the repair.
