Hello,
Please find the attached screenshot.
Under the Used by tab i see some checkpoints for filessytem null am concerned that they are eating some space from the storage pool. I appreciate for the help.

I havent seen that before - might just be a glitch with Celerra manager GUI
I would suggest to cross check with the CLI or open a service request

I am seeing this same message now and it appears to be filling up my entire pool. Was there ever a solution "Checkpoints for File System null?"

Hi,
this is fixed on NAS code 5.6.48 and above :
From the release notes :
Impact Level
Severity 2
Symptom Desc.
If a PFS and its checkpoints resided on different storage pools, when using WebUI to check the pool
properties page, some checkpoints showed up in the "used by" list as "checkpoint of filesystem null".
Clicking on the hyperlink to display the file system properties resulted in a blank screen.
Fix
Code has been fixed to properly return PFS id for the checkpoints that were taken instead of SavVol id
to ensure proper display of pool properties.
Fixed in version 5.6.48.0

well - if you really want to get into the CLI I would suggest to start with the manuals Managing EMC Celerra Volumes and File Systems with Automatic Volume Management and Managing EMC Celerra Volumes and FIle Systems Manually
just be prepared that the storage CLI commands arent that easy to read
