Help Getting CIFS perms correct from Linux smbmount.

Having trouble working through some permissions issues, hope someone has solved this before.

2003 AD Domain

CentOS 5.3

mount -t cifs -s  -o credentials=/etc/samba/smb_cred,workgroup=### //sharename/share  /mnt

does not show the same acl's as on NFS.

ls -al /mnt/filename.pl

-rwxrwSrwx 1 root root   662 Jul 11  2011  filename.pl

/mnt/filename.pl

Setuid/gid script is writable by world.

Please consider moving this question to the proper forum as-is (no need to recreate) for maximum visibility.  Questions written to the users' own "Discussions" space don't get the same amount of attention and questions can go unanswered for a long time.

You can do so by selecting "Move" under ACTIONS along the upper-right.  Then search for and select: "Celerra Support Forum" which would be the most relevant for this question.
