NS20 FRU Parts

Hello,

Could someone please tell me about NS20 FRU Parts?

I've had the document "CELPSB037A.pdf" and read it regarding NS20 FRU.
However, I can't understand the following.

If a mother board or an I/O module on NAS Head don't work, can I replace the blade(P/N:100-562-150) or new one to fix the NAS head?
Similarly, if a CPU module or a Memory Module or an I/O module on Storage Processor don't work, can I replace the Storage Processor(P/N:100-561-293 or 100-520-624) or new one to fix the Storage Processor?

Is the blade (P/N:100-562-150) of NS20 FRU or TLA?
Is the Storage Processor(P/N:100-561-293 or 100-520-624) of NS20 FRU or TLA?

Could you please tell me what command do you know to get the P/N of a Celerra?
How do you get the P/N of a Storage Processor and Blade from control station?
Could you please tell me about that?

Best regards,
Yasushi

The easiest way to get the part numbers for a Celerra is to use Celerra Manager - Its got an inventory page listing all the components in it.

I assume you are an authorized service partner - so just contact you EMC liason.

The part numbers alone wont help you - you also need the documentation on how to change parts and what (if any) commands need to be issued after a replacement.

Also part number change from time to time when a new rev is available - there is actually a parts compatibility database to see which parts can be used as a replacement.

Typically Celerra blades (data mover) and Clariion SP's are FRU, memory depends on the model but motherboards or CPUs normally dont get replaced
