Step by step CIF and storage pool process
Hello...
I'm new to the NAS side of my new NS SAN. I took some classes but seem to have forgotten some things. Is there a document out there that steps you through creating a storage pool, creating the file system and attaching it to a CIF server? I know pieces and parts but I'm having issues piecing it all together. What I want to do is take two 1 TB drives and create a quick file server. Any help would be appreciated.

Within here you will find the Celerra Network Server Documentation CD. Download and extract this. It will have all the documentation you need, as well as a web search.
You'll need to specifically look at CIFS and Managing Filesystems and Managing Celerra Volumes and File Systems Manually.

have you tried Wizards in Celerra Manager ?
