For some time now I have had this problem with my laptop - DELL G3 3579 (i5-8300H, 24 GB RAM, GTX 1050). With the latest drivers and Windows 11.

With the power supply plugged in and the battery pulled out or the battery only a few percent charged (and the power plug inserted) there is CPU throttling - with more demanding games and temperatures at 70-80 degrees CPU and GPU. The CPU then often has 800MHz which causes incredible FPS drops.
Surprisingly when I do tests using OCCT program the throttling problem does not occur (probably because the battery on the system charges quickly and reaches 30 percent in a few minutes). Of course as the battery reaches >10 percent the problem automatically disappears even in games!

Unfortunately, the problem is a nuisance because my battery is already a couple of years old and doesn't charge/hold levels as it should.
I know that the easiest thing would be to replace the battery and then the problem would go away, but such a problem should not occur, CPU and GPU power should not depend on the battery.

Please help.
