G7 7790 Low performance when screen is off
Whenever I turn off the main display (either by setting power options to do nothing when the lid is closed, or by setting windows to display on second monitor only) my framerate when gaming goes way down. Set project mode to second screen only? Choppy framerate. Change to duplicate displays? Butter smooth instantly. Second screen only? Choppy again.
I have been testing with a second monitor hooked up via HDMI, but my intended usage is gaming via Steam Link with the laptop screen off and ideally the lid closed.
