My laptop is not charging fully up to 100%. It would charge only up until 97% then charging light goes off and charging halts, however, when I click the battery icon it says plugged in (but it say anything whether its charging or not charging).

Another thing that I noticed that until the charging light is on, the battery icon (on the bottom right corner) would give me the information that how much time is left until it fully charged but as soon as it reaches 97%, it stops displaying that information and charging light indicator (white charging light in the centre near to touchpad) also goes off.

One more thing that I noticed after getting 97% charged, if I reconnect the charger then it would charge for about 2 minutes and then the same thing happens, this way I took it to 99% by repeating the process but it is very troublesome as anyone can imagine.

I am facing this problem from only about 2 days.

If anyone is aware of this issue, PLEASE HELP.
