Memory query regarding Dell G3 15 3500
Hello there!
I had bought a Dell G3 3500 around a year ago, and I have been using it for a while. Its sometimes a bit slow when under heavy work load, but other than that its great. I recently found an issue with my memory tho. I had purchased this laptop when it was listed to have 2933 MHz of Clock speed,
and checking task manager, it said the same, (From my understanding the high RAM usage is so that the RAM is always at 100%, giving more memory to whatever application requires it)
However, when checking Hardware monitoring softwares such as HWMonitor or HWInfo, it only shows the ram has a clock speed of 1600 MHz. Is this because the speed has been clocked, or is it a software glitch in HWInfo.
On another note, My HDD has also had around 31 shock events, so should I start creating regular backups of my HDD?

Thank you! We have received the required details. We will work towards a resolution. In the meantime, you may also receive assistance or suggestions from the community members.
It is 2933MHz DDR4 ram. The software is incorrect. Check the ram in the BIOS. The 1 year warranty expires on May 29.
