Ram Speed issue
I have a dell inspiron 15 3515 laptop and when I got the laptop the Ram was running at 3200 Mhz and I recently updated my BIOS as I was starting to see issues with playback so I updated all the drivers and the BIOS but the issue still remains, video streaming sites lag and sometimes I get a 'Restart your device if the issue persists' and even the Ram speed has decreased to 2400Mhz , I have not changed the ram but after the BIOS update which was said to be 'critical' I now have my ram running at 2400 Mhz and there is no way to change it in the BIOS

I am kind of surprised that you were at 3200 since the specs here clearly state 2400MHz. On the other hand are you sure it was not 3200 RAM installed but running at 2400 all along.

@JOcean I'm sure it was running at 3200 Mhz . This was running at the same RAM speed as my PC which is still 3200 Mhz so I got this laptop as I expected the same RAM performance as the tasks I do require more RAM and higher speeds. I know for a fact that it was running at 3200Mhz as it did show up as 3200Mhz in task manager.

Just out of curiosity try CPU-Z available here at CPUID and see if the results are the same as Task Manager.I am not a Dell employee...I am forum volunteer

@Prithvi Raj Sorry, i read it wrong, and I think it was a bad BIOS Upgrade/Update.
