Go to SolutionLatitude 7390, D6000 USB device not recognized issue
My D6000 dock is not fully recognized when I disconnect it and reconnect it to my Latitude 7390. It works the first time I startup the computer after booting it from a shut down, but not if the computer goes to sleep. My external HDMI display works fine, but the USB devices plugged into the dock such as webcam, keyboard and mouse do not work. I have updated the firmware on the dock itself but this has not fixed the issue.

Update December 9 =
I restarted my laptop and it appears to be fully working with the latest BIOS version, no issues. Hopefully this continues, and I will let you know if there is another problem.

Update December 16 =
I downgraded to the very first D6000 firmware (0017, A00-00 25 Jan 2018) and it is working without issue. I can disconnect and reconnect the dock and all USB devices are recognised. I have not changed anything else. I am not sure if this is an isolated issue, but since the dock firmware is only updated if the user actively does it then it could be a wider problem. Worth investigating for sure.
