Unidentified Event code 0x03808164 FOUND any my laptop is getting power on but not able to load windows and getting screen covered with while lines or sometimes totally black screen. How to resolve this issue?
Same issue here. Latitude 7390. Doesn't boot consistently and caps lock LED flashes, also, when it does boot the keyboard and mouse will suddenly stop working.
On my Latitude 5520, I too got a bunch of "Undefined event code 0x03088314" log events, one for each time I tried to start the machine. The system would not boot, and also would not respond to F12 to be able to run any diagnostics.
A thorough examination of the F2 -- BIOS Setup screens, I saw under Security -- Chassis Intrusion, the rather quiet statement:
A chassis intrusion has been detected. Select "Clear Intrusion Warning" to acknowledge and clear this event. ...
I did that, turning on the "Clear Intrusion Warning" button and it booted at the next restart!
I confirmed this by deliberately removing the cover, and reinstalling it, and saw the problem recur.
Of course, I saw no other Warning about it, nor any mention of Chassis Intrusion in the BIOS logs.
I'm hopefully presuming that this "Intrusion" was just a false detection, maybe due to some rough handling.
The Unidentified Event code 0x03808164 non-bootable machine problem, where only the F2 BIOS Setup screen is available, is (sometimes?) due to a Chassis Intrusion warning. The warning may be not be seen, except by noticing it under: Reset -- F2 -- BIOS Setup -- Security -- Chassis Intrusion
Selecting -- "Clear Intrusion Warning" will clear the alert temporarily to enable it to boot at the next reset.
There also is (or may be?) an option to just disable this "Block boot until Chassis Intrusion alert is cleared" feature.
Hi @ujjwalsrivastava does Inspiron 3593 System Diagnostic LED flash 2 amber and 4 white, 2,4 = Memory or RAM (Random-Access Memory) failure. When BIOS logs undefined event code 0x03808164, this usually means system board PCIe RAM slots are failing and rejects Memory RAM cards.
Please clean and reseat Memory RAM cards.
Do you have Dell warranty?
Seemingly system board (aka motherboard) is about to require replacement.

Not sure what is causing this issue but my Dell XPs 13 9370 works fine if it boots up. No Fan noise, no speed issues, just runs smooth. No hardware or software issues detected by the dell diagnostics tool. I ran couple of other sfc scans and no issues there as well. This laptop sometimes just won't boot up. Showss blank screen with LED showing one white and three orange blinks. caps lock on, keyboard lights up and it sits there until you manually restart and follow the same procedure of restart until it boots up to show there is no problem with the laptop. This is frustrating. I dont believe dell does not have an answer for this one
