My second question is regarding cloning the full disk with CloneZilla.

I have already used CloneZilla on other PCs but the XPS 13 9370, it seems not so easy to detect the CloneZilla USB key at boot.
I only managed once to boot on CloneZilla USB key the XPS 13 9370 Ubuntu Edition.
But I am not able to reproduce the steps.

I have found different posts on different web sites but not reliable in my case.
I have connected an USB hub (self/bus powered) with 2 USB keys : one for CloneZilla and one for image storage

Here were my tests:

- different CloneZilla USB key were tested

- different up-to-date CloneZilla versions were tested (debian or ubuntu based)

- Thunderbolt adapter on left or right of the PC

- BIOS version 1.4.0 or 1.5.1

- BIOS - Enable Thunderbolt Adapter Boot Support activated

- BIOS - Enable USB Boot activated

- BIOS SATA operation = AHCI

- BIOS POST behavior Fastboot : Minimal or Thorough

- BIOS Enable Thunderbolt Adapter Pre-boot Modules activated or not

- BIOS UEFI or Legacy...

- BIOS Secure Boot deactivated by default.

The second USB key for storage is most of the time detected from F12 Boot Menu.
It happens once that the Ubuntu based CloneZilla USB key was detected with Secure Boot enabled with UEFI boot.
So I have created an image from the disk.

Does someone has a 100% reproducible solution for detecting USB CloneZilla key at boot menu ?
