Earlier this week there was an update from A07 to A08. I installed nd my system is working fine. My system was in the legency mode when I purchased it with Windows 7 , running 2 -1Ts , 16 megs of memory .

Why is A08 removed. I been running Windows 8 since it was release since day one. My system boot up as soon as I power up and shuts down great. I did had the usb issue where the alien face would not  shut off even when the system was shut down .  I used boostspeed  and it did a great windows registry scan for error. speed , stable. I had an image backup of my external system on a external drive.

Boostspeed solved all problems ad increased my speed back to out of the box .

When I upgrade to Windows 8 professional .. I ugraded window 7 home to windows 7 ultimate version , then Windows 8 professional. I wish I would have known about Ueif  boot . very little information on it when I got my Alienware .
