Media Centre Critical Process Failure.
I'm not sure where else to post this one. After the Service Pack update I now get errors suing the media extender.
IT simply fails stating that a critical process has failed. From the prolbems log it looks like the host module has stopped working - I can find no help on the microsfot site - any advice?

Thanks for the response. I've not posted under there as I have no way of knowing if it is the update or not, plus its for Vista.
I'm wary of removing and replacing the update as I had to remove Mcafee in order to install it in the first place.

Can you uninstall the service pack and then reinstall? Or do a System Restore to last date before the service pack was installed?
Actually this probably should have been posted in the Windows XP forum.
