Memory Question
I am making a Dimension 8400. I am mainly going to play games, but don't have the money for an XPS. I got the Geforce 6800 (is it good?) and a good harddrive and everything, but I have a question about the memory. I know I'm getting a 1GB memory, but I don't know if it's worth it to pay $40 to upgrade it to 533 MHz innstead of 400. I could do that or upgrade 250GB to 320GB Raid 0. Would any of those be helpful with performance or gaming? I have the money, but I don't know if it's worth it. Thanks in advance.

RodentMeat. You should think twice about using RAID 0.RAID 0 gives you almost nothing in added performance on the desktop, but doubles your risk of losing everything due to drive failure, therefore be certain, to keep your data backups current.RodentMeat

Okay. No RAID 0. But will the +133 Mhz to the RAM help out a lot. I know that 1 GB of RAM is pretty good, but I figured I could upgrade it without going to 2 GB. So, will it help out my performance noticeablely?
