I have  updated my 64 MB Nvidia GE Force 2 MX with TV out to NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400. This has caused my computer to crash twice during launching and, of course, I couldn't get on the net as my machine couldn't find a dial tone so I wasn't able to send MS a copy of the error report (it's a long story--those error reports sit in the middle of your screen and can't be moved to see other things that are going on like printing, etc that's a little of what happened to cause me to lose it) so I'm thinking of just reinstalling the old version back again from disk. I like this new version however, I'm seeing things on my screen that I've never been able to see: for example a series of circles on the sign up screen that I never saw before. Ah, Maybe it will just resolve itself mysteriously like some  problems but of course it hasn't. Now it might not be this--I'm getting a yellowish cast to my new HP f1905 LCD monitor so it could be that or it could be, over Logitech's objections, the new cordless keyboard and mouse (LX 300) I just installed and I got this yellowish cast before I upgraded nVidia. In fact Logitech suggested I try upgrading the nVidia software. It segues in and out of being yellow and then not being yellowish. The Dell logo on boot up looks pretty terrible as a sickly green. So where do I start to find out where this problem might be--the keyboard and mouse?; the monitor? or the upgrade? I have a Dimension 4400 running Windows XP.
