I am intending compiling a quiz for Christmas using intro's, outro's, middle 8's etc onto a CD instead of using a cassette. 

Does anyone have knowledge of what software is avaiable to enable me to copy just, say 10 - 20 seconds of some tracks with a 2 - 5 second break in between them to enable me to pause each one and then quickly review any one when required (instead of trawling through a tape cassette to find the relevant track intro etc.) All standard copying software I've tried only lets you copy the entire track which is no good for my purpose.
