Partition

Question

Since I installed Windows 7 My recovery disc D is now full with only 1 restore point on it. Can I alter the size of my partition as it will not take any more system restore points? I have a1 yr old Dimension 530

You should not be using that partition for backups.  If the hard drive were to fail all your backups will be gone.  Only backup to some other media such as a different hard drive, discs, etc.  I use Acronis True Image Home and backup my entire hard drive (all partitons) to a USB connected hard drive.  I do this on a frequent basis and if the har drive would 'crash' or fail completely I can restore the entried hard drive contents in about an hour.
