This computer is a Dimension L433C tower with the advance power management options.

When I click shutdown, the computer goes through all the powerdown motions, except when it reaches the point it's supposed to power off the computer, it just restarts as if only doing a restart.  However, it comes up with the NORMAL, BOOTLOG, SAFE MODE, etc menu as if powered down inappropriately.

In short I cannot power off the computer without violating it and holding the power button in, until it shuts off.

HELP!!!!!
