A very computer illiterate friend of mine has had a Dell 660 running Win8 since early 2012.  She barely understands it and did not make any recovery disks.  The HDD has now failed completely (I've checked it on another system).

Is it possible to get recovery media from Dell in order to re-install the OS on a replacement HDD?
