Weird sounds coming from computer
Hi,
I have a Dell Dimension 8100 and have noticed that some strange sounds come from inside the computer. This occurs when it's been on for awhile- it makes a sound sort of like something is cycling over and over. This may sound horrible, but if I give it a good tap on the side it usually stops. Other times I hear sounds like the computer is loading something over and over (like a series of small clicks cycling through). It's the same sound you hear when you start a program. I know that it's not the fan or my DVD or CD-RW drive... does anyone else have this problem? Thanks-
