I checked with the Dell support site regarding upgrading my Dell Dimension 8100 to XP. According to the upgrade wizard, Dell does not recommend upgrading at this time. There is a BIOS upgrade on the support site which appears to be aimed at supporting XP. Has anyone tried the beta versions of XP and are there any critical issues? I am sick of WinME, but am not interested in going back to Win98 if WinXP will run on this machine.
